Trinity Archery is a participating member of the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP®). This program promotes instruction in international-style target archery as part of in-school curriculum. Our endeavor is to bring greater attention to the shooting sports and improve educational performance. In NASP® learning the “shooting process” is stressed far more than arrow scores. Students learn focus, self-control, discipline, patience, and the lessons required to be successful in the classroom and in life. Currently, Trinity Archery is open to all students in grades 6th – 12th and does not require any archery experience or equipment to join.
NASP® uses the Genesis® Original compound bow for competition. This universal bow is designed to fit almost every student regardless of size and does not require individual setup or tuning. The bow is highly standardized to be safe, durable, and extremely economical. The bow is adjustable from 10-20 pounds of draw weight at any draw length. The official arrow of NASP® is the Easton 1820 aluminum shaft “Genesis” arrow.
